I just shot in new outfits from the Bernie Dexter line and can't wait to put them up for you to see, they'll be in her catalog coming out in the fall. I have lots of shoots lined up for the following months in NYC, so I'm anxious to get all my backlog of sets put up now! I updated my calendar with more dancing gigs coming up too, so mark it down and come watch me shake it! July 31, 2010: Check out my calendar for new events coming up! I'll be teaching a vintage hair workshop in Philadelphia in a few weeks hosted by Dale Rio, the photographer whose photos I posted yesterday, and then have a few performances in New York City in the fall! July 30, 2010: I put up a new photoset today shot by one of my favourite photographers and fellow busy lady, Dale Rio, who has started not one, but TWO amazing magazines, first with Shimmy Magazine, the first modern burlesque magazine and now runs Blood and Thunder mag, dedicated to the rad ladies of rollerderby! The first time I shot with her was for my appearance in Shimmy Magazine, and I was delighted to reconnect with her in NYC for this shoot in my new Rita Hayworth-inspired burlesque costume!

I'm taking a much-needed break from touring right now, which is giving me some time to update photosets and redo my shop! LOTS of fun stuff coming up, starting with a show in Seattle on May 15th with my good friend Donny Vomit at Browers Cafe! I also put up new photos from a shoot I did in Victoria a while ago with my dear friend Lily Fawn, check it out in the Pin-Up Gallery.

I will be returning to Victoria BC during my time off between tours, and I'm bringing my Pin-Up Class with me this time! It's been almost 2 years since the last class in Canada, so be sure not to miss this one! To sign up, go to the Pin-Up Class page!

I put up a racy new photoset on An Occasional Man from the sexy launch party and pin-up contest we did for the magazine in New Orleans at the AllWays Lounge, thanks so much to Dennis and the gang there, and to our two new Occasional Men, Lester and Izzy who will be in upcoming issues!

I finally made my big move to America!! Go-go Amy and I started a new touring burlesque and sideshow roadshow called Pretty Things Peepshow, and our first show is tomorrow night in Baltimore, home of John Waters!! I've spent the last couple days in New York City (my first time!) getting ready and enjoying the wonderful things unique to the area, like the fabulous garment district, and I may have lost my mind and first weeks wages at Moo Shoes, the all-vegan shoe store I've been drooling over online since it started. Hopefully now that I've quit my dayjob and can devote my life to pin-up and burlesque I'll be able to update this site a lot more! Check out the tour dates on my national tour on the Calendar!

I have an upcoming show in Victoria on December 16th with Hank and Lily, our big Christmas spectacular, which also is likely my last show in Victoria for perhaps a year or more, so please come out and help give me a good send off and show me what I'll be missing! The show is at Lucky Bar, where I did my first ever show in Victoria, and I can't think of a better place for a bon voyage party! At both the December 16th show and The Logan's Rock and Roll Market on December 4th I'll be setting up my Bad Santa photo booth, so if you want to get what you deserve this year, come down and sit on Santa's lap! xoxo Bettina |

I'm back from Paris, and finally settling back into a bit of a routine, if you can call it that! I had such a great time there, introduced tons of sexy ladies to the exciting world of male pin-up with Issue 2 of my magazine, An Occasional Man, held a fabulous pin-up class for Parisienne ladies, shot photos of sexy Parisienne men for the magazine, and posed for some great photographers too! As I get time I'll post pictures here of the great time I had.

Less than a week until I hit Paris! I'm so excited to be going overseas again so soon. It will be so nice to see all the cool people I met there last time, and hopefully fit in a little sightseeing this time. I have a couple days free and I'd love to get some photos taken of me when I'm not busy shooting men for upcoming issues of An Occasional Man, or shooting ladies at my pin-up workshop, so if you are a pin-up photographer in Paris and you'd ike to set up a shoot, please let me know!

I've had quite a busy month, busier than usual, and I've got lots to show for it! Issue 2 of my magazine is almost wrapped up, and will be going to press soon, just in time for the European launch! That's right, I'll be jetting off to Paris next month (June 23-July2) to perform at a bunch of parties and teach my pin-up class! Details are in the Events Calendar!

What a difference one month makes! I've wrapped up work on the new male pin-up magazine called An Occasional Man that I created with Meghan Mayhem from Honolulu, I'm so excited to finally have that finished! It's an idea I've been throwing around in some way or another since I first started modeling, so it's nice to see it finally come to fruition. I've also got a lot of shows and workshops coming up, now that the first issue is done and I can leave my computer for a bit - laying out a magazine is hard work! The first show is the magazine launch party, on April 3rd at Lucky Bar, and then a big rockabilly show Saturday April 5th at Logan's. Then I'm over in Vancouver April 25th for the Vancouver International Burlesque Festival!! |

I had SO much fun at the Sinners Ball last night with go-go Amy and our fabulous pick up artist, Lizzy Bathortease (thanks for everything!). I put up pictures that a fan sent today, along with some pics from the Eves of Destruction Roller Derby last month too! Go-go Amy and I did a photoshoot today too, so keep your eyes peeled for those, which I'll be putting up as soon as I get a chance.

Go-go Amy and I are performing together tomorrow night at the Sinner's Ball here in Victoria, I'm so excited to hang out with her this weekend, it's been too long! Check on the Belfry Theatre's website for details on how to get tickets (if there are any still left!).

Whoa, already the second day into my birthday month! My birthday is February 28th, and while I'm really wishing for a Hot Cop dancer on my big day, any of these things will do too!

Finished moving out of my old place, now I have to unpack the new place, oh boy! Never ending work for me, it seems, I have sewing orders piling up too, time to get cracking! I'm so excited to have my good friend go-go Amy coming back to town to perform with me at the Belfry Theatre's Sinners Ball in just over a week! Half finished with moving, it really is a never-ending task it seems! Part of cleaning house means finding photos and so I've put up my favourites by Mr. Ska of Xpressions In Forms who shot me and my friends while we were at the Mondo Lounge Atomic Frolic in Las Vegas last winter. Phew, what a week! Two great shows in a row, and now I have to move into my new apartment this weekend! I still found a little time to put up some photos that almost got lost in the vault! It's the first tour I did with my favourite red head, go-go Amy! It was Chaz Royal's Jungle Exotica tour, where we were joined by Vincent Drambuie, Lil Brooklyn, and Chica Boom, so take a look at these pics from July 2006, and enjoy!
