I've launched my new website devoted to my Pin-Up class, as it was getting a little crowded on the one page I allowed it on this site. Check out PinUpClass.com to find out all the latest news on my pin-up classes around the globe, and keep checking back here at Bettina.ca to find out about my burlesque gigs and modeling work.

Last week I performed at my good friend James Koroni's fundraiser in Brooklyn. He runs Enforced Arch, an online comminuty of vegan dancers, and has choreographed an amazing Anti-Fur piece called "Please, Don't Touch" and has been asked to bring it to Paris to perform it there, so he's raising money to cover travel expences for the dancers, you can help here! Here's the video of the piece:

I'll be doing some work on revamping my website over the next few weeks, trying to make it a bit easier to navigate and find what you're looking for. I hope you liked the new splash page I made up, and as always please let me know if you notice any broken links when you're browsing.
Some of you may have noticed that I was on Real Housewives of New York City last week! I was on vacation in Stockholm, and was pleasantly surprised to see my Facebook Page lit up with comments from people who'd seen me! You can read about it on Sonja from RHNY's blog or click here to watch the episode (it's not the best quality, bear with the buffering). *Warning, it's not safe for work at the end!*
There are also a bunch of pictures of me on the Real Housewives website from the episode, almost all of which are just me in pasties, haha! Also NSFW, FYI!
June 1, 2011:
Doing some spring cleaning, which means big savings for you! I'm marking down all my Bettina May tshirts by 50%, just in time for Father's Day, so get over to my Shop and get one or 10!
May 13, 2011:

I am now holding regular monthly classes here in NYC (I think people STILL don't know I live here full time) at Beauty Bar, on the 3rd Sunday of every month, so you have no excuse to miss it if you live here, and a good reason to come visit if you don't live near here. You can sign up and find out more here: Pin-Up Class Info
I also updated my Past Students page with more pics from past Beauty Bar classes so you can get an idea of what your class will look like:
April 3, 2011:
I'm on the cover of the Times Colonist today, my hometown paper!
Click here to read the article about me and other ex-Victoria residents who now live and work in New York. It has been a banner week for press, with my Beauty Bar tour getting lots of coverage in local papers:
Las Vegas Weekly: "The Downtown watering hole presents a production featuring the art of the striptease, with world-renowned pinup model Bettina May headlining the sexy soiree"
Flavorpill Las Vegas: "Long story short: Burlesque is back, and this event gives wannabe Dita Von Teases the chance to adopt her classy-yet-saucy look, and have it all photographed."
March 28, 2011:
The Denver Post did an article on my class next week, click here to check it out:

It's getting close to when I'll hear about whether or not my green card application is approved, which also means I need to come up with the rest of the thousands of dollars that it costs to petition for your own green card as an entertainer! I'm slashing $50-$75 off all upcoming Pin-Up Classes, with bigger discounts available for fellow performers (email me to get those discounts, must be able to show me a website or other proof that you are a working performer)

Expect to see pics of me in more of her outfits very soon!

We shot with her at her gorgeous Cherry Muffin Studios in Berlin; it is vintage perfection, I felt like I was on the set of Swing Kids!
I was joined by the coolest redheads I know, go-go Amy and Eve Champagne, wearing outfits by Germany's finest burlesque clothing company, Redcat 7.
